The 2023 National Black Members Conference is coming up, and we're looking for delegates to attend.
UNISON rules state that to ensure proportionality, our branch can only send up to six delegates to the conference, and one of those must be a low-paid female. Low-paid means that you earn less than £11.19 per hour.If we only send one delegate, then they can be any gender and there is no restriction on earnings.All expenses will be paid for by UNISON, including travel, hotel and refreshments. If you need creche or babysitting facilities (up to and including the age of 16), then they can also be provided at the conference and paid for by UNISON.The conference will be held in Edinburgh on 20-22 January 2023.
