UNISON@NTU is looking for members who are interested in becoming Workplace Representatives. Being a rep is a rewarding way to make a real difference to the people you work alongside every day.
As a UNISON Workplace Representative, you could:

Support colleagues by listening to their concerns and helping them access advice and representation when they need it.

Develop new skills in communication, problem-solving, negotiation and leadership through accredited UNISON training.

Build new connections by working with a network of colleagues who are passionate about improving working life at NTU.

Help create positive change by promoting fairness, equality and good working practices across the university.
You don't need any previous experience to become a representative. Full training and ongoing support are provided, and you'll receive paid time off to attend training and carry out your role.
Whether you're looking to develop professionally, give something back to your colleagues, or have a greater say in workplace matters, becoming a UNISON rep is a fantastic opportunity to get involved.
